Starting from 2016, SPLAST has been investing in a modern Research and Development Center, equipped with:

• tensile strength machine 50 kN,
• optical scanner,
• Charpy’s impact testing machine,
• Charpy’s device for sample preparation,
• device for performance of scratch tests and adhesion testing,
• CMM machine (Coordinate Measuring Machine),
• microscope for surface analysis,
• multisensor measuring machine,
• automatic system for extension the surface,
• instalation for scrap recycling  and preparation of material samples,
• rapid prototyping device of metal parts,
• muffle furnace,
• thermal imaging,
• plastometers,
• hardness testing device,
• altimeters.
